Dick Farr, born July 18, 1936 in Hartford Connecticut, USA. Dick has had a varied career from a USAF SAC Combat Crewman during the Cuban Missile Crisis to an Engineering Manager in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War(s)
"When I saw the SCUD Missile just clear my apartment block, and slam into the parking lot of a supermarket one street away," he said "I knew this was going to be serious."
In between bouts of being in the very wrong places at the very worst times, Dick has managed to marry his English sweetheart Lesley, and live sort of peacefully in the Midlands. (Unfortunately Lesley died January 2008 of cancer, leaving Dick with four elderly cats, one of which survives to this day)
