URCUMALO (The Evil Mountain)

Dick Farr's newest novel is set in South America on the Bolivian Alti-Plano and the Bolivian-Paraguayan Gran Chaco. The premise is a journey of self discovery for the hero, who coming to Boliviia to find a cure for his dying brother, is confronted by a perverted foundation plotting the total destruction of all non-intellectuals.

They plan to do this with a strain of orchid whose seed spores are deadly to mankind, if only they can find the antidote, for otherwise they too will die. Alas for our hero it is his dying brother who survives and provides them with just that.

Our hero is now faced with the impossible task of stoppping the foundation, saving his brother, and his new found love interest. One disaster follows another until the final confrontation  at the base of the evil mountain known as Urcumalo.
